INFOTAINMENT FOR THE PEOPLE OF EARTH SINCE 2006

TIGER WOODS' PUBLIC APOLOGY

Tiger Woods is breaking his silence for the first time since he cheated on his wife over and over and over again. Woods held a live press conference in Florida this morning. He read from a prepared statement and took no questions. Here's some of what he had to say:

"I was unfaithful. I had affairs. I cheated. What I did was not acceptable."

"Parents used to point to be as a role model for their kids. I owe all those families a special apology."
"I do plan to return to golf one day. I just don’t know when that day will be. I don’t rule out it will be this year."

"As Elin pointed out to me, my real apology to her will not come in the form of words; it will come from my behavior over time."

"Elin never hit me that night, or any other night," Woods said, his voice rising in anger. "There has never been an episode of domestic violence in our marriage."

To the media: "Leave my wife and kids alone."

Tiger's statement lasted just under 15 minutes. He said he's returning to therapy. He ended it by hugging his mother and some supporters.

Cudos to Elin for not attending. Enough of women standing by their cheating men.

TIGER WOODS TO BREAK HIS SILENCE

This should be good. Tiger Woods is speaking out on Friday. It will be the first time the disgraced golder has spoken since the sex scandal broke after Thanksgiving.

His agent says he will not be taking any questions from reporters. Lame. So, he'll probably read from a prepared statement, say he's sorry and announce his return to golf.

It's all going down at 11a.m. on Friday from a clubhouse in Florida.

MUST SEE VIDEO
It's sweeps and The Insider managed to score troubled former child actor Gary Coleman as a guest panelist. Talk about news with the opposing views. Yesterday, Coleman was out of control. He rambled on about his distrust of women and even said he's sick of all the Haiti coverage. In this clip, he talks about how pissed he looked in a recent mugshot. He also claims he has no idea why he was arrested. What an angry, little man.
