"HICCUP GIRL" CHARGED WITH MURDER

Excuse you! The teen whose hiccups wouldn't stop is making headlines again, but this time no one's laughing. 19-year-old Jennifer Mee is accused of murder.

Mee made headlines in 2007 for having a case of hiccups that wouldn't go away. On Saturday, Mee and two others were arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 22-year-old man in Florida. Investigators say Mee lured the victim to an area of St. Petersburg, where two men tried to rob him. The victim tried to fight them off and he was shot several times. Cops say the three suspects all admitted to their involvment. They've all been charged with first degree murder.

NEW COURT SHOW IS A FAKE!

If you haven't checked out America's Court with Judge Ross, don't bother. The new court show is fake. The show, which looks very real, premiered in September. It's the latest project from Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios and is presided over by real judge Kevin Ross. The judge is the only thing that's real on this show. The litigants are all paid actors. Don't believe it? Check out the disclaimer at the end of the show that says all characters are fictional. What a joke. The show presents itself to be real and looks like any other court show. Total scam. Who wants to watch actors? Why even use them? Doesn't this "judge" have better things to do than preside over fake cases? Stick to Judge Judy.

"THE TALK": A POOR VERSION OF "THE VIEW"

CBS'S new women's talk show, The Talk, premiered live from Los Angeles this afternoon. The show is hosted by Julie Chen (wife of CBS big boss Les Moonves), Sharon Osbourne (who already hosted a talk show that failed), Holly Robinson Peete, Sara Gilbert, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur (whoever that is).

Nothing about this show is original. It's The View, only boring. Case in point: this morning during the first 10 minutes of The View, Barbara Walters and crew got into a spirited debate about Joy and Whoopi walking off when Bill O'Reilly was on. Great TV. The first 20 minutes of The Talk, included forced chemistry between the hosts and taped segments from their families wishing them well on their new show. Les Moonves wishing Julie Chen "good luck" was enough to make anyone grab the remote. If The Talk fails, he'll just give her another show to host.

The most cringe-worthy moment of The Talk came when Sara Gilbert (from Roseanne) tried to take credit to coming up with the concept of five yentas gossiping around a table on live TV. Sorry, Sara, but Barbara Walters had the same idea a more than a decade ago.

So, who the The Talk's first guest? It had to be someone big, right? Try Christie Brinkley. Is it 1987? Click.

MAJOR CHANGES TO JERRY LEWIS TELETHON

The annual Jerry Lewis Telethon will only air in primetime next year. Instead of 20-plus hours, the show will only air from 6pm to midnight in 2011. It will be broadcast live only on the east coast. In this year's telethon, the Muscular Dystrophy Association raised $59.8 million. The rand total was down for the second year in a row. Organizers hope the shorter show will attract bigger stars to the show. Not to mention, it will be easier for its 84-year-old host. Read more about the Telethon's changes in TV WEEK.
