Enjoy this recap.

#10 LADY GAGA - Lady Gaga took her sunglasses off for the interview, telling Walters that she doesn't take her glasses off for just anybody. Barbara said, "bluffin with my muffin," when asking Gaga about her sexual orientation. LG said her relationships have always been with men, although she has hooked up with women.

#9 JENNY SANFORD - Broke up with politician husband, Mark Sandford, when he cheated on her in a much publicized affair.

#8 TYLER PERRY - Popular films have grossed more than $400 million.

#7 KATE GOSSELIN - Wholesome TLC star whose TV showed was canceled after her and her husband had a messy public break-up. She told Barbara that her kids miss the cameras.

# 6 GLENN BECK - Controversial TV host who's outspoken against President Obama. He told Barbara that he's afraid that our freedoms will slip away with us having a choice.

#5 ADAM LAMBERT - American Idol runner-up whose American Music Awards performance was X-rated. Lambert told Walters that he had no regrets about the performance. He says he's not sure what affect the performance will have on her career.

#4 BRETT FAVRE - 40-year-old Football player who's still in the game. Retirement just doesn't work for this guy and he's tried!

#3 SARAH PALIN - The first person to be on Barbara Walters' list two years in a row. In 2009, she abruptly left her post as governor of Alaska and authored a best-selling book. She told BW her perfect day would be one where she's at home with her five children, eating moose stew.

#2 THE JACKSON KIDS - When Michael Jackson died, he left behind three children. BW did not score an interview with the kids, showing file of them from previous interviews. Michael did not make the list because it only includes people who are still alive.

#1 MICHELLE OBAMA - The first African American first lady said there are times when she pinches herself as she's walking through the White House. (If you were watching David Letterman last night, you would have seen Letterman guess correctly about Barbara's top secret number one pick. Barbara just squirmed in her seat after he guessed it was Mrs. Obama. Sounds like Letterman got some inside info.)

CBS CANCELS "AS THE WOLD TURNS"

After 54 years on the air, CBS announced today that it's canceling "As The World Turns." Now, Adam Lambert will be sitting at home tomorrow morning. The American Idol runner-up was supposed to perform on Good Morning America, but the network canceled his appearance. ABC received 1,500 complaints after Lambert's way over-the-top performance on Sunday's American Music Awards. The network says Lambert would not be appropriate for the morning audience. After the GMA cancellation, the CBS swooped right in, asking Lambert to perform on the Early Show. Next fall, the show will return to daytime with a new name, Judge Karen's Court. The show has been picked up Litton Entertainment. The show was brought back at the request of the Sinclair Broadcasting Group, which owns stations in larger midsize markets like Pittsburgh. It's one of several new court shows being planned for fall 2010. Still, Carrie Prejean appeared on Larry King Live to promote her new book last night. (Is anyone going to buy that?) The former beauty queen got upset with Larry when he asked her why she recently settled with the Miss California USA pageant. She repeatedly called Larry "inappropriate" then pulled her mic off and started talking to her PR people off-camera. There was a bunch of dead air. Then, Larry took a break. Time for the media to stop giving this brat airtime. Here's Anderson Cooper breaking it all down:

CHIMP ATTACK VICTIM APPEARS ON 'OPRAH'

In case you forgot it was sweeps, Oprah was there to remind you today. She scored two huge exclusives.

First up, she spoke with the two heroes of the Fort Hood shooting. Kimberly Munley fired the shoots that took down gunman Nidal Malik Hasan on thst fateful day. Oprah interviewed her via satellite. Munley says she's getting better each day.

In a worldwide exclusive, Oprah also sat down with Charla Nash. She's the Connecticut woman whose face was ripped off by a chimp earlier this year. Nash said that she does not remember anything about the day she was attacked. She's been hospitalized ever since. Nash says she's not in pain. She wears a veil, so she doesn't scare people. But for the first time, she took it off for Oprah. It was very graphic. Very courageous of her.

"DR. PHIL" AMONG SEVERAL TALK SHOWS RENEWED

There's a buzz that Oprah will be moving her talk show to her new cable network in 2011. But several other talk shows are staying put. Dr. Phil has been renewed for the 2013-14 season in about 70 percent of the country. NBC Universal's trash talkers, Maury, Jerry Springer, and Steve Wilkos have all been picked up by the Tribune station group through the 2011-12 season. Those shows recently moved to Connecticut where the production costs are cheaper.

By the way, Tyra Banks pulled off a tabloid sweeps stunt today. She spoke with a woman who was born with two vaginas. Happy November sweeps!

BREAKING: 12 PEOPLE KILLED AT FORT HOOD

Breaking news at Fort Hood army base in Texas.

12 people have been killed, 31 others have been injured, in a mass shooting. This year, they paid tribute to reality TV. They started the show as Jon and Kate Gosselin. Gelman dressed as the balloon boy, with Art Moore by his side as his crazy father. Reege also dressed up as Britain's Got Talent singer, Susan Boyle. While Kelly changed outfits to be Lady Gaga. The show ended with its annual best costume contest.

Elsewhere, Ellen Degeneres dressed up as the cover of O magazine. Her outfit was of her pushing Oprah on a swing. Pretty funny. Rachael Ray spent the day as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. Wendy Williams dressed up as Dolly Parton. She had the perfect body for it, fake boobs and all! Tyra Banks changed her outfit a few times. She started her show dressed as Whoppi Goldberg, with a cardboard cutout of the other ladies from The View attached to her. Just like Kelly Ripa, Tyra also sported a Kate Gosselin wig. Martha Stewart and her audience dressed up as characters from Where The Wild Things Are. Martha's guests included Jimmy Fallon, who she treated to some frightening Halloween-inspired foods.

WOMEN BARE ALL IN TV NEWS SWEEPS STUNT

Here's a way to get ratings: show two naked women in evening newscasts and call it "news."

Today, is the first day of November sweeps. Oddly enough, it's also the day that WJLA in Washington is starting a series on breast cancer detection. The series will feature two women fully exposed on late-afternoon and evening newscasts.

The station realizes that the timing of this story is sure to raise some eyebrows.

"People will say we're doing it just for ratings," general manager Bill Lord said. "But we're a commercial television station... we're trying to get people to watch us. Yes, this is an attention-getting story, but it's also an important story."

So, they are doing it for ratings.

By the way, one of the subjects is a 28-year-old woman. Wonder what she looks like.

For more on this sweeps stunt, check out this Washington Post article.

JACKO EARNS $72 MILLION SINCE HIS DEATH

Michael Jackson's death is translating into dollar signs. He stuck around for the entire show and killed it. The segment with Olivia Munn was hilarious and the special guest ping ping player was the icing on the cake. Amazing show. Back on July 10, Artie Lange was charged after getting into a minor car crash in New Jersey. This morning, he pled guilty and his driving privileges were taken away for seven months.

The scary thing is that he wasn't under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. He was on sleeping pills, prescribed to him by his doctor. Quite scary because more and more people need these pills just to get through the day.

NYC ANCHOR BLOOPER

MUST SEE VIDEO
Legendary New York City anchor Ernie Anastos made a big on-air oops last night. Season six has a rountable format, which features Spencer, Samantha Harris, new correspondent Chris Jacobs and a different celebrity guest panelist each day. The four of them debate all of the day's entertainment stories in a new format that just doesn't work. Just report. No one wants an analysis from these people. Wondering how Lara feels about this silly attempt at ratings? No way will this panel format last.

-- Posted from my iPhone

PATRICK SWAYZE DIES

Actor Patrick Swayze died yesterday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was just 57 years old.

Swayze was best known for his roles in "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost." Today, his "Ghost" co-star, Whoppi Goldberg, remembered him on "The View." She said she got the role in the movie because of him and won an Emmy because of him. Barbara Walters got the last interview with Swayze back in January. It will be rebroadcast on ABC tonight.

-- Posted from my iPhone
