TRL WRAPS AFTER 10 YEARS
Friday, November 14, 2008
The final afternoon episode of MTV's TRL aired yesterday. Special guests All American Rejects brought along their new video, "Give You Hell." The band then helped the crew dismantle the set throughout the show. Hosts Damien Fahey and Lyndsey Rodrigues counted down the shows best performances over the years, which included Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent and N Sync. The showed ended with Fahey and Rodrigues thanking their viewers. They then pulled the plug, which made the lights go out on the set.
There is still one more episode of TRL. Total Finale Live airs this Sunday at 8PM. The show will be hosted by original VJ Carson Daley and Damien Fahey. Maria Carey, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Kid Rock and the Backstreet Boys are among the performers set to take the stage. Former VJ's Vanessa Minnillo, Dave Holmes, Jesse Camp, La La Vasquez, Hilarie Burton and Quddus will also be there.
