INFOTAINMENT FOR THE PEOPLE OF EARTH SINCE 2006

WENDY WILLIAMS VS. OMAROSA

Things got heated when reality villain Omarosa appeared on the Wendy Williams Show on Monday. Omarosa was there to promote her new book, but things quickly got personal between the two women.

It all started as soon as Omarosa walked out onto the set. She told Williams that she didn't like her introduction and said, "I will not be disrespected."

Williams repsonded, "This is not the time for you to look for your moment."

Things got worse when Williams grabbed Omarosa's book right to hold up to the camera and Omarosa snatched it right out of her hand.

Later on, Williams told Omarosa that she's the "stereotypical angry black woman." Omarosa responded by telling Williams that she's "re-enforcing stereotypes" and told her not to be fake.

Things got cattier. Omarosa asked Williams if she had gotten a nose job, saying it looked like she did. Williams fought back saying some cosmetic injections could fix her wrinkles. Great stuff.

After the show, Williams discussed the heated interview with the Associated Press. "Omarosa wished her career was my career," Williams said. "Omarosa is a delusional, D-list, pathetic woman."

The fight can be found online. It's copyrighted by WNYW, which is why it's not being posted here. Just search for it and you'll find it.

RADIO HOST SAYS KIDS WITH AUTISM ARE FAKING IT

Controversial radio host Michael Savage is being slammed for comments he made about children with autism. On Monday, he suggested that most kids who have been diagnosed with the disorder are faking it.

"I'll tell you what autism is in 99 percent of the cases. It's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out," Savage said.

Parents of children who have autism have been boycotting outside some of the stations that broadcast his show, "The Savage Nation." They want him fired.

Savage is now backpeddling from his comments. He said he was overly dramatic to underline the over-diagnosis of autism in America.

"I certainly don't think 99 out of a hundred children are falsely diagnosed but it certainly got people's attention," Savage told WCBS-TV in New York.

ROGER EBERT AND RICHARD ROEPER BOTH LEAVING 'EBERT & ROEPER'

Film critics Richard Roeper and Roger Ebert are both leaving the syndicated show, "At The Movies with Ebert & Roeper" after eight seasons. Roeper couldn't agree on a contract extension with Disney-ABC. His last appearance on the show will be the weekend of August 16-17.

"Several months ago, Disney offered to extend my contract, which expires at the conclusion of the 2007-08 season," Roeper said. "I opted to wait. Much transpired after that behind the scenes, but an agreement was never reached, and we are all moving on."

Roeper will continue writing his column in the Chicago Sun Times. He also hopes to co-host another movie review show in the near future.

Roger Ebert has been absent from the show for two years because of health issues. He, too, has announced that he will no longer be associated with the show.

Ebert released a statement on his website saying the show's trademark still belongs to him.
"...the thumbs will return. We are discussing possibilities, and plan to continue the show's tradition."
