It was the day "Live! with Regis & Kelly" fans always knew would come, but that didn't make saying goodbye to Regis Philbin any easier. This morning, he left his mega-popular morning show after 28 years. The audience was filled with his friends, some famous and not-so-famous. Tony Danza, Donald Trump, Diane Sawyer, Kathie Lee Gifford and Katie Couric all set their alarm clocks early to spend one last morning with Reege. The show was full of retrospectives and surprises. Kelly Ripa was moved to tears at many points in the show. Mayor Bloomberg gave Regis the key to the city. A plaque was placed on the building in his honor.
