INFOTAINMENT FOR THE PEOPLE OF EARTH SINCE 2006

THANKSGIVING FUN

Thanksgiving is tomorrow. If you're looking for some ways to get into the Thanksgiving spirit, we've got a few ideas.

If you have Sirius Satellite Radio, check out Martha Stewart's channel for her annual Thanksgiving hotline. For three years now, Martha and her team of expert chefs have been taking your turkey day questions. Want to know how to brine a turkey? Need a recipe for the perfect pumpkin pie? Call Martha's hotline.

The 83rd annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is tomorrow. If you can't make it to New York, log onto their website to read about the parade's history. There's also plenty of fun games for the kids. Don't miss the parade. It's live on NBC tomorrow morning at 9AM/ET.

There are a bunch of TV specials tomorrow after your Thanksgiving meal. ABC will air the classic "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving," followed by concerts with Beyonce and Paul McCartney. At 9PM/ET, NBC presents "People of the Year" with Matt Lauer. The "Today" show host talks to all of the headline-makers include hero pilot Sully Sullenberger, Taylor Swift and the Octomom.

Happy Thanksgiving!

ADAM LAMBERT'S GMA APPEARANCE CANCELED

He made out with a guy and simulated oral sex on network television. Now, Adam Lambert will be sitting at home tomorrow morning. The American Idol runner-up was supposed to perform on Good Morning America, but the network canceled his appearance. ABC received 1,500 complaints after Lambert's way over-the-top performance on Sunday's American Music Awards. The network says Lambert would not be appropriate for the morning audience. After the GMA cancellation, the CBS swooped right in, asking Lambert to perform on the Early Show. He agreed.

'JUDGE KAREN' TO RETURN TO TV

Here's something that rarely happens. A canceled show is coming back to television.
Sony canceled Judge Karen last year after one season in syndication. Next fall, the show will return to daytime with a new name, Judge Karen's Court. The show has been picked up Litton Entertainment. The show was brought back at the request of the Sinclair Broadcasting Group, which owns stations in larger midsize markets like Pittsburgh. It's one of several new court shows being planned for fall 2010. Nancy Grace will take on Judge Judy in Swift Justice with Nancy Grace. Jay McGraw, Dr. Phil's son and the producer of The Doctors, is marketing a spin-off called, The Lawyers. Also in the works, Entertainment Studios' America's Court with Judge Ross and Trifecta's Judge Heck.

GREAT VIDEO: CARRIE PREJEAN THROWS A FIT ON LARRY KING

MUST SEE VIDEO
She's on 14:59 of her 15 minutes of fame. Still, Carrie Prejean appeared on Larry King Live to promote her new book last night. (Is anyone going to buy that?) The former beauty queen got upset with Larry when he asked her why she recently settled with the Miss California USA pageant. She repeatedly called Larry "inappropriate" then pulled her mic off and started talking to her PR people off-camera. There was a bunch of dead air. Then, Larry took a break. Time for the media to stop giving this brat airtime. Here's Anderson Cooper breaking it all down:

CHIMP ATTACK VICTIM APPEARS ON 'OPRAH'

In case you forgot it was sweeps, Oprah was there to remind you today. She scored two huge exclusives.

First up, she spoke with the two heroes of the Fort Hood shooting. Kimberly Munley fired the shoots that took down gunman Nidal Malik Hasan on thst fateful day. Oprah interviewed her via satellite. Munley says she's getting better each day.

In a worldwide exclusive, Oprah also sat down with Charla Nash. She's the Connecticut woman whose face was ripped off by a chimp earlier this year. Nash said that she does not remember anything about the day she was attacked. She's been hospitalized ever since. Nash says she's not in pain. She wears a veil, so she doesn't scare people. But for the first time, she took it off for Oprah. It was very graphic. Very courageous of her.

"DR. PHIL" AMONG SEVERAL TALK SHOWS RENEWED

There's a buzz that Oprah will be moving her talk show to her new cable network in 2011. But several other talk shows are staying put. Dr. Phil has been renewed for the 2013-14 season in about 70 percent of the country. NBC Universal's trash talkers, Maury, Jerry Springer, and Steve Wilkos have all been picked up by the Tribune station group through the 2011-12 season. Those shows recently moved to Connecticut where the production costs are cheaper.

By the way, Tyra Banks pulled off a tabloid sweeps stunt today. She spoke with a woman who was born with two vaginas. Happy November sweeps!
