INFOTAINMENT FOR THE PEOPLE OF EARTH SINCE 2006

REPORT: KARA DIOGUARDI FIRED FROM "IDOL"

The American Idol drama continues. TMZ is reporting that Kara Dioguardi has been fired from the show after two season. This comes after Ellen Degeneres announced that she's leaving after only one season. TMZ claims the show is going back to a three-judge panel consisting of Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.

ELLEN DEGENERES LEAVES 'AMERICAN IDOL'

First it was Paula. Then Simon. Now, Ellen Degeneres is leaving American Idol.

"A couple months ago, I let Fox and the `American Idol' producers know that this didn't feel like the right fit for me," Ellen said in a statement.

Ellen spent only one season judging the show. She was criticized because of her lack of musical knowledge. She was also rumored to not get along with Simon Cowell. She was also horrible on the show. Never knew what she was talking about. Good riddance.

This leaves two judge vacancies on the show. The New York Daily News is reporting that Jessica Simpson will take Simon Cowell's place. An official announcement is expected Monday. (Really, JS is the best they could come up with? Let's hope it's not true.)
