STEVE HARVEY'S BIG DEBUT

Steve Harvey beat all of the new talk shows out of the gate and the move paid off. Tuesday's premiere scored a 1.5 rating, the best debut rating for a daytime talker since Dr. Oz in 2009. In NYC, Steve Harvey improved 375 percent from its lead-in, the cancelled Nate Berkus show. Steve Harvey will get a ton of competition next week when several other new talk shows debut. Ricki Lake, Katie Couric and Jeff Probst all launch on Monday. Most talk/court shows will also return on Monday. Ellen will start season 10 of her talk show. Wendy Williams will begin her new season with a new set. Dr. Phil will talk exclusively with the best friend of Trayvon Martin's killer. Dr. Oz will have have First Lady Michelle Obama on his show. There is more competition than ever in daytime. It will be interesting to see which shows make it thru this season.

REGIS LEAVES "LIVE"

It was the day "Live! with Regis & Kelly" fans always knew would come, but that didn't make saying goodbye to Regis Philbin any easier. This morning, he left his mega-popular morning show after 28 years. The audience was filled with his friends, some famous and not-so-famous. Tony Danza, Donald Trump, Diane Sawyer, Kathie Lee Gifford and Katie Couric all set their alarm clocks early to spend one last morning with Reege. The show was full of retrospectives and surprises. Kelly Ripa was moved to tears at many points in the show. Mayor Bloomberg gave Regis the key to the city. A plaque was placed on the building in his honor. In the end, Regis thanked everyone for watching before his wife and adults kids rushed the stage with hugs.

The real problem is these Entertainment Studios fake court shows try to pass themselves on as having real cases. Unless you read the fine print at the end of these shows, you'd think it's real. Not fair to the viewer.
'Til Death - Awful FOX sitcom that no one watched premieres in syndication. No way this will last more than one season.

NEW COURT SHOW IS A FAKE!

If you haven't checked out America's Court with Judge Ross, don't bother. The new court show is fake. The show, which looks very real, premiered in September. It's the latest project from Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios and is presided over by real judge Kevin Ross. The judge is the only thing that's real on this show. The litigants are all paid actors. Don't believe it? Check out the disclaimer at the end of the show that says all characters are fictional. What a joke. The show presents itself to be real and looks like any other court show. Total scam. Who wants to watch actors? Why even use them? Doesn't this "judge" have better things to do than preside over fake cases? Stick to Judge Judy.
