WORTH CHECKING OUT
NBC has brought back Last Comic Standing for the summer. Jay Mohr is out as host. Anthony Clark is in. So far, the judges have traveled across the country, looking for the funniest people out there. Some established comics who have not struck gold yet have made their way onto the show. Doug Benson, a contributor to VH1's Best Week Ever, is on to the next round after a successful try out in Los Angeles. Comedian Jimmy Pardo, who's appeared on several low-rated T.V. shows, showed up in Chicago and was shown the door. Two comedians, one with a lisp, another with cerebral palsy, have also made the cut. All this, makes season four of Last Comic Standing definitely worth checking out.
