NBC Announces New Fall Schedule

The networks are hosting their ypfront presentations to advertisers in New York City this week. This is the time when we find out which shows will be back for the fall and which have been cancelled. NBC went first today, announcing renewals for its most popular shows and several new series. The biggest news: Jerry Seinfeld is returning to the network, starring in 20 live-action comedy "minisodes" inspired by his experience in creating the upcoming animated film "Bee Movie."

NEW SERIES:
Lipstick Jungle - Sundays at 10 pm - new Candace Bushnell drama
Journeyman - Mondays at 10 pm - about a time-traveling newspaper reporter
Chuck - Tuesdays at 9 pm - comedic spy thriller
Bionic Woman - Wednesdays at 9pm - Michelle Ryan stars as an average girl who contracts superhuman powers after a car accident
Life - Wednsdays at 10pm - Damian Lewis stars as a police detective who returns to the job after a stint in prison for a crime he didn’t commit
The Singing Bee - spelling bee/karaoke game show to alternatvr with 1 vs. 100 on Friday nights
CANCELLED:
Studio 60, Raines, Crossing Jordan, The Real-life Wedding Crashers
UP IN THE AIR:
The Apprentice - not on the fall schedule but the network is said to be in talks with Donald Trump for another season later in the year
