Prince Frederic: Bound, Naked and Robbed?!
Friday, July 27, 2007
First, he claimed he was the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby. Now, Prince Frederic von Anhalt says he was robbed by three attractive women and left naked in his car! Officials with the LAPD say Zsa Zsa's husband called them to report a robbery yesterday morning. The Prince claims he was driving along when "three white women" approached him and asked him to pose for a picture. Then, one of the woman allegedly put a gun to his neck and demanded all his money. "She was tough as nails," he said. "She talked to me like a truck driver." The Prince claims the ladies then stripped him of all of his clothes and tied him up to his steering wheel with his own belt before taking off.
While the story seems far-fetched, the Prince insists he's telling the truth. "People who say that was publicity stunt, they can go screw themselves," he said. "It's the sickest thing that ever happened to me in my whole life."

Drew Carey to Host "Price Is Right"
Comedian Drew carey has been selected to host the "Price Is Right," taking the place of longtime host Bob Barker. The deal was confirmed Monday afternoon and Carey confirmed it during a taping of "The Late Show with David Letterman."
"I realize what a big responsibility this is," Carey said. "It's only a game show, but it's the longest-running game show in American television and I plan to keep it that way."
Bob Barker, 83, retired in June after hosting the game show for 35 years. Barker says he's "cool" with his replacement. "I understand he ad-libs very well and that he has a very nice, friendly way of working, and I think both of those would be helpful to him on 'The Price Is Right,"' said Barker.

Tammy Faye Dies
Sunday, July 22, 2007
Just days after her shocking appearance on Larry King Live, Tammy Faye Messner has died. Messner died Friday after battling cancer for ten years. She was 65 years old. Weighing just 65 pounds, Messner made her final television appearance on Larry King Live on Thursday saying she had no doubt that she would go to heaven.
Messner gained fame as a televangelist during the late 1970's and 80's, preaching with her then husband, Jim Bakker. She quickly became known for her mounds of make-up and huge hair. Their empire came crashing down after Bakker had an affair with a church secretary and admitted to defrauding thousands of followers.
Messner bounced back from the controversy in the 90's. She co-hosted the short-lived daytime talk show, "Jim J. and Tammy Faye" with actor Jim J. Bullock. In 2004, she was a housemate on VH1's "The Surreal Life."

Tammy Faye's Fight to Live
Friday, July 20, 2007
Former evangelist Tammy Faye Messner talked about her battle with inoperable cancer on "Larry King Live" tonight. Weighing only 65 pounds, Messner's appearance was beyond shocking. Her voice was very raspy, but despite her grave condition, she still wore heaps of make-up as always. Messner told King she trusts God with her life and has not asked doctors how long she has left.
Messner was diagnosed with colon cancer in 1996 and in 2004, she announced it spread to her lungs. Doctors have since stopped treatment. She's now receiving hospice care and takes morphine to ease the pain of swallowing food.
King said Messner pushed for this interview and he was not trying to exploit her.
