New York Governor Eliot Spitzer's alleged call girl is suing GIRLS GONE WILD founder Joe Francis. Ashley Alexandra Dupre is seeking more than $10 million dollars from Francis and his film company. Dupre claims he exploited her good name and image for profit.
Dupre alleges GGW approached her whilen they were filming in Florida in 2003. She claims they offered her booze and coaxed her into taking her top off for their cameras. (I'm sure it took a lot to convice her.) What's worse, Dupre says she was only 17 at the time, not old enough to sign a release for her to be filmed.
Since the filming, Dupre says GGW has exploited her name by using her image in ad campaigns and on Web sites.
Francis says he was "surprised and in fact amazed" by the lawuit.
"She's seeking $10 million for topless photos taken in front of a room full of people, including two newspapers and multiple crews we had in the room," adds Francis. "These images were taken in public places and contain no sexual contact. We expect to triumph in this matter."
Dupre turns 23 this week. She hasn't appeared in public since the Spitzer scandal.
