ONLINE PETITIONS TO SAVE RENO 911

Comedy Central has canceled its popular show, RENO 911. Fans aren't taking it lightly. A Website, savereno911.com, has been set up by the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority. Visitors are urged to sign a petition and leave comments in the hopes that the show gets picked up for another season. There are also Facebook and Twitter petitions for fans of the show.
It's stars are responding. Actor Joe Lo Truglio plays Deputy Frank Rizzo on the show. He says, "Many thanks to all the fans and the people who started this site. This is a great show to be part of, and I hope this campaign will bring the footchases, the rollerskates, the big booty, and, of course, the tiny shorts back into living rooms across America once again. Thanks everybody!"
