"GOLDEN GIRLS" STAR RUE MCCLANAHAN DIES

Golden Girl Rue McClanahan has died at 76. She suffered a massive stroke. Her family was by her side. Her manager says, "she went in peace." McClanahan was best known for playing the fiesty Blanche Deveraux on the 80's sitcom, The Golden Girls. This means that Betty White is the only living cast member from the show. Last year, Bea Arthur died from cancer. In 2008, Estelle Getty passed away.
Art Linkletter, Gary Coleman, Dennis Hopper and now Rue McClanahan have all died in the past week.
