NEW DATING SHOWED "EXCUSED" TO LAUNCH THIS FALL

It's been years since any dating shows have aired in syndication. But this fall a new show, Excused, will be launched from coast to coast. According to Broadcasting & Cable, and each episode will start with a group of men competing for the affections of two women or vice versa. The show will be hosted by Iliza Shlesinger, the winner of the sixth season of Last Comic Standing. Excused will be produced by Renegade 83 Entertainment, which is best known for its hit syndicated dating show Blind Date.
Also coming in fall 2011, Anderson cooper's new syndicated talk show, Anderson. U-K trash talker Jeremy Kyle will also join daytime with a show that's a lot like the Maury show.

REGIS PHILBIN TO RETIRE

No more Larry King. No more Oprah. And now, no more Regis. This morning, Regis Philbin announced he's leaving Live! with Regis & Kelly at the end of this season. Regis has hosted the show for 28 years.
"Everything must come to an end for certain people on camera, especially certain old people," Philbin joked. Kelly said she wished there was something she could do to change his mind. Regis turns 80 in August.

LIL JON PART OF NEW CELEBRITY APPRENTICE CAST

Donald Trump stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night. He didn't say if he plans to run for president, but he did reveal the cast for the next season of Celebrity Apprentice. Gary Busey, Lil Jon, Jose Canseco, Lisa Rinna, Star Jones, Dionne Warwick, La Toya Jackson, Marlee Matlin, Richard Hatch. Mark McGrath, Meatloaf and David Cassidy are among the celebs appearing on season 11 of the show. Gary Busey is rerason enough to watch it. The new season kicks off on March 6 on NBC.

BOSTON SPORTS COLUMNIST COMES OUT OF THE CLOSEST IN NEWSPAPER ARTICLE

Boston Herald sports columnist Steve Buckley took a very brave step today. In an article called, "Welcome to my Coming Out Party," he came out of the closet to the world, admitting what his loved ones have known for years: he's gay. ELIZABETH EDWARDS LEAVES JOHN EDWARDS OUT OF WILL

In her final moments, Elizabeth Edwards got some sweet revenge against her cheating hubby. She updated her will just 11 days before she died and left everything to her kids. Nothing for John. His name wasn't even mentioned.
"All of my furniture, furnishings, household goods, jewelry, china, silverware and personal effects and any automobiles owned by me at the time of my death I give and bequeath to my children," the will states," the will read in part.
Edwards named her oldest daughter, Catharine, the executor of the private trust.

Ted Williams is the man of the moment. He's getting all sorts of job offers since he was discovered asking for money on the streets of Ohio. This morning, the man with the golden voice appeared on CBS' The Early Show.

HOWARD STERN ON THE iPHONE
It's about damn time. The Howard Stern Show is now streaming live on all smartphones, including the iPhone. When Sirius first announced its app, it included every channel but Howard 100 and 101. Stern just resigned for 5 years with Sirius. Part of the agreement was to make sure he can be heard on smartphones.

UPDATE: Good luck is coming Ted Williams' way. Since this video became a YouTube sensation, Williams has been offered a full-time job as an announcer for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The team is also buying him a house! Tomorrow, Williams will appear on the Today show. What a story!

MARILU HENNER'S AMAZING MEMORY
Imagine being able to remember what happened on every single day of your life. It seems impossible, but actress Marilu Henner can do it. This morning, she called in to the Howard Stern show to demonstrate her amazing memory skills. She told Howard that she has vivid memories from as far back as 18 months old. She can pick out any day of her life and tell you what she did. Howard tested her, asking her the days she's appeared on his show. She got them all right, even the day of the week! Henner could even tell Howard what the weather was like on those days. Howard said he was "shocked" by her skills and even called her "superwoman."Labels: howard stern

Best known for his role as Arnold Jackson on Diff'rent Strokes, he grew up to resent his childhood fame. Coleman died after suffering a brain hemorrhage at his home. He was 42.

The "Easy Rider" star died after battling prostate cancer. He was 74.

She played the fiesty Blanche on the hit sitcom, "The Golden Girls." Rue McClanahan was 76. Betty White is the only surviving cast member from the show.

The lead singer of the 90's band, LFO. He once dated actress Jennifer Love Hewitt. He suffered a stroke after a long battle with cancer. Rich Cronin was just 36 years old.
GREG GIRLADO - September 29
Comedian known for his was known for his great one-liners on Comedy Central's Roasts. Before his sudden death, Giraldo was a judge on NBC's "Last Comic Standing." Giraldo earned a law degree from Harvard Law School. He worked as a lawyer for one year before abandoning it all for a career in comedy. Giraldo died five days after an accidental prescription drug overdose. He was 44 years old.
TONY CURTIS - September 29
American movie star whose career spanned six decades. Curtis acted in various genres, but he never got an Academy Award. He was the father of Jamie Lee Curtis. Curtis was 85 years old.

Tom Bosley was best known for playing the father, Howard Cunningham, on the hit sitcom, "Happy Days." He was 83 years old.

The actor went from dramas to comedies, starring in hits like "Airplane" and "The Naked Gun" movies. Leslie Nielson was 84.
