CANCELLED: EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION
Friday, December 16, 2011
You had to figure it was coming. After moving Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to the dead zone of Friday nights, ABC has announced it's canceling the long-running show. Makeover will wrap in January after nine seasons. ABC says the show will be back now and then for specials. On the January 13th finale, the team will build seven homes in seven days in tornado-ravaged Joplin, Missouri. The show's host, Ty Pennington, is going on to co-host ABC's new daytime talk show, The Revolution. The new talker will also debut in January.
