MICHAEL PHELPS ADMITS HE SMOKED WEED
Sunday, February 01, 2009
Don't tell grandma. America's hero admits he smoked the devil's drug! Oh, the shame of it all!
Yesterday, the News of the World published a picture of the gold medal-winning Olympic swimmer smoking marijuana from a bong. Instead of denying or ignoring the report, Phelps did something most celebs don't ever do. He admitted the picture was real and apologized.
Phelps released a statement to the AP reading, "I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I’m 23 years old and despite the successes I’ve had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again."
This is where this story should end. But it won't. It will be all over the place on Monday. Some idiots will suggest his medals should be taken away because he's a bad role model.
Cut the guy a break. He admitted he was wrong. Let's move on.

Barry Bonds' Mistress Tells All
Thursday, October 04, 2007
Barry Bond's mistress is telling all about her long relationship with the homerun king. Kimberly Bell appeared on the Howard Stern show this morning. She spoke about the relationship they had while Bonds was still married. Bell said Bonds confessed to steroid use while they were still together. When shit hit the fan, he called her and said they could no longer be together and urged her to disappear out of his life.
Bonds may be in the big leagues, but Bell claimed Bonds was like a little leaguer in bed. She told Howard that his "bat" was average and so was his love-making. Bell also claimed that his balls shrunk after he began using steroids and once turned to Viagra to get it up. Only on Howard. If you'd like to hear more about their scandalous relationship, Bell is telling all in Playboy magazine.

Goodbye Shea Stadium
Tuesday, November 14, 2006
Say goodbye to another baseball classic. The Mets' Shea Stadium has been bought by Citibank and will be rebuilt and renamed Citi Field. It would be one thing if it was City Field, but it's not. It's Citi Field. These corporate assholes. It's not enough for corporations to buy all these landmarks, they have to give them shitty name changes to benefit themselves everytime. Boston Garden became the Fleetcenter and is now the TD Banknorth Garden. The Providence Civic Center in Rhode Island is now the Dunkin Donuts Center. Real catchy. Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park are of the few, non-corporate named stadiums left and let's hope it stays that way.
