Should Ostrosky Dance With The Stars?
Wednesday, April 19, 2006
Howard Stern's longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky has been asked to be a dancer on the next season of Dancing With The Stars. If she accepts, she has to go to dance lessons and travel to California for six weeks in September to take part in the show. The problem: will this help or hurt her career? The question has sparked much debate on the Stern show. Dancing With The Stars has given a boost to C-list stars like Drew Lachey. But he used to be an A-lister as part of 98 Degrees. It certainly seems that most people who appear on Dancing With The Stars use it as a way of reviving their careers, NOT as a way of launching their careers. Will this really help her career in the longrun and make her a legitimate star? Or, will she get a few gigs because of the exposure before declining back to the C-list? It's a tough call.
