Dr. Phil House Shut Down!
Wednesday, October 11, 2006
Dr. Phil is going to have to go house-hunting. The good doctor's television house has been shut down because of bad behavior. The show's production company bought a house in a quiet Los Angeles neighborhood and rigged it with 45 cameras so Dr. Phil could monitor his unruly guests. Neighbors say the house was out of control. There was non-stop noise, yellign and swearing pouring out of the Dr. Phil House. Not to mention, a neighbor says "Dr. Phil" violated the city's ground rules by taping past midnight many nights and starting up again before 7AM. He also says some of the production staff were rude and uncooperative. Tired of the disturbances, 76 residents signed a petition to rid their quiet neighborhood of the dysfunctional Dr. Phil House. They met with city officials last month and production was quickly shut down. The show claims they left because they had already wrapped.
