Donald Trump Saves the Day
Monday, September 17, 2007
Tonight's season premiere of Deal or No Deal was a heart-breaker. Donna, a single mother from Nashville, was the contestant. Her dream was to move back to New York with her son, Dominic, because that's where she's from and all her friends are there. To give it a New York feel, the show brought in Donald Trump as the banker and all of Donna's friends from NYC to give her support. Donna earned $96,000 at her highest point, but lost all her money by continuing to play. She wound up with a tiny $25. At the end of the show, Donald Trump stepped in wtih a heart-warming gesture. He told Donna that he was going to give her son a check for $25,000.
