Judge Mathis Being Sued By Angry Litigant
Saturday, October 06, 2007
Judge Greg Mathis is finding himself on the other side of the bench. A guest who appeared on his syndicated show, "Judge Mathis" is suing Mathis and his production company, reports TMZ. Melody Burnham says producers never told her that Mathis was a retired judge. She also claims that the show held her hostage in a dressing room for six hours without food and claims she had no idea she was going to be countersued until minutes before the trial. She's also upset because Mathis made fun of her, calling her a "hillbilly." The suit is seeking unspecified damages.
