DUNKIN DONUTS PULLS RACHAEL RAY AD
Thursday, May 29, 2008
Dunkin Donuts has pulled this online ad featuring T.V. chef Rachael Ray. The company says it was flooded with complaints because of the scarf she was wearing. Dunks claims it was pulled because "the possibility of misperception detracted from its original intention to promote our iced coffee." The company says no symbolism to a Muslim scarf was intended. More proof that people have too much time on their hands.
