"DR. PHIL" AMONG SEVERAL TALK SHOWS RENEWED
Friday, November 06, 2009
There's a buzz that Oprah will be moving her talk show to her new cable network in 2011. But several other talk shows are staying put. Dr. Phil has been renewed for the 2013-14 season in about 70 percent of the country. NBC Universal's trash talkers, Maury, Jerry Springer, and Steve Wilkos have all been picked up by the Tribune station group through the 2011-12 season. Those shows recently moved to Connecticut where the production costs are cheaper.
By the way, Tyra Banks pulled off a tabloid sweeps stunt today. She spoke with a woman who was born with two vaginas. Happy November sweeps!
