HEADLINES: PALIN ENGAGED, AN MTV FAVORITE RETURNS, IPHONE RECALL?

  • MTV is bringing back "Beavis and Butthead." The New York Post reports MTV has confirmed several new episodes of the popular '90's cartoon are in the works.

  • Sarah Palin's daugter, Bristol, and her baby daddy, Levi Johnston are engaged. The couple appears on the latest edition of US Weekly. It's a big surprise because the young couple had broken up and had been slinging mud at each other in the media for months. (NEW YORK POST)

  • Piers Morgan is said to be CNN's top contender to take over Larry King's timeslot. The Post reports the British host is set to make six to eight million dollars a year with his new gig, which has not been officially announced yet.

  • It's not being recommended by Conumers Reports and now there's word that the i-Phone 4 may be recalled. PR experts tell the Huffington Post that Apple has a crisis on its hands and a recall of the new phone is "inevitable."

  • Fox is kicking off its new season on Saturday, September 11th with new episodes of Cops and America's Most Wanted. Glee's second season starts on September 21st. Family Guy and The Simpsons are back on September 26th. (TVbythenumbers)
