HOWARD STERN SIGNS ON FOR 5 MORE YEARS

It's an early Christmas gift for Howard Stern fans everywhere. After so much speculation, today Howard Stern announced that he will stay on Sirius satellite radio for at least five more years! No one knew what would happen. There were rumors Howard and his crew would go to Apple's i-Tunes. Some thought he'd retire. Some thought he'd go back to terrestrial radio.
Howard's new deal takes him through 2015. It will also also his show to be available on smartphones like the iPhone.
"On my first day in satellite radio Sirius had approximately 600,000 subscribers. Today, the two companies have 20 million, and, in my view, we have just scratched the surface of how many people will get on board," Howard said in a statement.
