WORLD'S TALLEST WOMAN DIES

The world's tallest woman has died. Sandy Allen was 7-foot-7 and was listed as the world's tallest woman in the Guinness Book of World Records since the 1970's. She appeared on several daytime talk shows in the 1990's and was always upbeat about her height.Allen died this morning in a nursing home in her home town of Shelbyville, Indiana. No word on the cause of death. She had been hospitalized for a recurring blood infection, breathing troubles and diabetes. Sandy Allen was 53 years old.
