WILL HOWARD STERN STAY AT SIRIUS?

Howard Stern just started his third of five years at Sirius Satellite Radio. Sirius is paying him half a billion dollars for the deal, but it looks like Howard's going to have to take a pay cut if he signs on any longer.

Sirius CEO Mel Karmazin held his quarterly conference call with analysts today. "Great content costs money," Karmazin said. "If Howard is on the call and listening, if he would like to extend his deal at less money, we would be interested in that... but from my history with him, I don't think that is apt to happen." Karmazin also said that Sirius should "be doing a better job in selling Howard."

"CELEBRITY REHAB" UPDATES

Dr. Drew Pinsky appeared on Good Day L.A. this morning and talked about how some of his patients on VH1's "Celebrity Rehab" are doing now. He said Brigitte Nielsen is doing very well and has even given up smoking cigarettes. Jessica Sierra has been court-ordered to stay away from TV cameras and has entered a treatment program in California. Dr. Drew says she's also doing well. It seems China still has some work to do. Dr. Drew said he hopes she will get further treatment for her bipolar disorder. "Celebrity Rehab's" toughest case, Jeff Conaway, still has a long road ahead of him. His girlfriend, Vicki, is portrayed as an enabler in the show, but Dr. Drew says we'll see that she's taking steps to get better in a future episode. If you're looking for more "Celebrity Rehab" updates, you're in luck. A special "Celebrity Rehab" update show will air on VH1 on March 13.

DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER IS BACK

"Dog The Bounty Hunter" is coming back to television. TMZ reports the show is going back into production, although no premiere date has been set. A&E suspended production of the show indefinitely after Dog was caught dropping several N-bombs in a recorded phone call with his son. Dog went on a tour of forgiveness. He cried on Larry King Live and even went as far as saying he wants to be buried in a slave cemetery. "Dog The Bounty Hunter" is one of A&E's highest rated shows, so it's no surprise the network is giving Dog a second chance.

FEBRUARY SWEEPS STUNTS

It's February sweeps and that means every show on television is pulling out all the stops to insure great ratings. Here's a look at some of the sweeps stunts from the past week (Feb. 10-16):

* Inside Edition scores an exclusive interview with Gary Coleman and his new wife, Shannon Price. The 40-year-old child star secretly married the 22-year-old back in August. Already, it looks like things are heading for divorce court. The couple fights all the time and Coleman's new wife admitted he has a temper.
* You know it's sweeps when The Insider brings back the anorexic twins. They have finally gained some weight but think they're fat as cows and are beginning to starve themselves againt. A look inside their refrigerator revealed only a small piece of watermelon.
* Tyra Banks walked off her talk show this week. She couldn't handle the yelling and screaming between the women from "The Bad Girls Club."
* CBS airs the Grammy Awards in attempt for good ratings, but the show was the third lowest-rated Grammy's ever.

NAKED COWBOY SUES M&M'S

If you've been to Times Square in New York City recently, you've seen the Naked Cowboy. He dances and plays the guitar in the middle of the city wearing a cowboy hat, boots and underwear. Now, the Naked Cowboy (aka Robert Burck) is taking the maker of M&M's to court. He's suing for $6 million, claiming the company dressed up an animated blue M&M as the Naked Cowboy without his permission. The Naked Cowboy ad is displayed just steps away from where the Naked Cowboy performs, at the M&M's store in the heart of Times Square.

GRAMMY'S 2008

The Grammy Awards celebrated 50 years tonight and put on an amazing show. The Grammy's have sucked in recent years, but producers made up for it big time this year. The live show from the Staples Center in Los Angeles featured an amazing mix of today's top artists with legendary musicians of years past.

The performances were mind-blowing. Alicia Keys opened the show with a high-tech performance with Frank Sinatra. Tina Turner and Beyonce sang "Proud Mary" together and Kanye West performed a very moving tribute to his mother. West also took home a Grammy for best rap album. They tried to cut him off with music when he was accepting, but when West started paying tribute to his mother he said it would be in "poor taste" to keep playing the music. Go Kanye!

SONG OF THE YEAR: Rehab, Amy Winehouse
RECORD OF THE YEAR: Amy Winehouse
BEST NEW ARTIST: Amy Winehouse
BEST FEMALE POP VOCAL PERFORMANCE: Rehab, Amy Winehouse
BEST POP VOCAL ALBUM: Back to Black, Amy Winehouse
BEST MALE POP VOCAL PERFORMANCE: What Goes Around... Comes Around, Justin Timberlake
BEST RAP SOLO PERFORMANCE: Stronger, Kanye West
BEST RAP ALBUM: Graduation, Kanye West
BEST FEMALE COUNTRY PERFORMANCE: Before He Cheats, Carrie Underwood
BEST POP PERFORMANCE DUO/GROUP: Makes Me Wonder, Maroon Five
BEST RAP/SUNG COLLABORATION: Umbrella, Rhianna ft. Jay-Z

HEATH LEDGER DIED OF PRESCRIPTION OVERDOSE

Heath Ledger's death was an accident and the result of the abuse of prescription medications, according to the medical examiner.

The medical examiner released results of the toxicology report Wednesday, saying Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of six drugs, including pain killers, sleeping pills, and anti-anxiety drugs.

The six drugs found in his system were oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine, the medical examiner's office said.

An official familiar with the autopsy results said the combination of drugs likely led to respiratory failure.

The official said the death was ruled an accidental overdose not because he took a large number of pills at once but because of the cumulative effect that taking numerous drugs had.

SUPER BOWL: HIGHEST RATINGS EVER

The New York Giants amazing victory over the undefeated New England Patriots was watched by 97.5 million viewers last night. That makes it the highest rated Super Bowl ever. The game smashed the previous record of 94.08 million, set when Dallas faced Pittsburgh in 1996. It was the second highest rated show in American television history. The series finale of M.A.S.H. in 1983 still holds the record with 106 million viewers.
