CHIMP ATTACK VICTIM APPEARS ON 'OPRAH'
Wednesday, November 11, 2009
In case you forgot it was sweeps, Oprah was there to remind you today. She scored two huge exclusives.
First up, she spoke with the two heroes of the Fort Hood shooting. Kimberly Munley fired the shoots that took down gunman Nidal Malik Hasan on thst fateful day. Oprah interviewed her via satellite. Munley says she's getting better each day.
In a worldwide exclusive, Oprah also sat down with Charla Nash. She's the Connecticut woman whose face was ripped off by a chimp earlier this year. Nash said that she does not remember anything about the day she was attacked. She's been hospitalized ever since. Nash says she's not in pain. She wears a veil, so she doesn't scare people. But for the first time, she took it off for Oprah. It was very graphic. Very courageous of her.
