ARTIE LANGE TAKING TIME OFF FROM HOWARD STERN SHOW
Monday, December 14, 2009
Artie Lange is taking a break from the Howard Stern show. The comedian, who is always calling out sick, was off last Friday. Howard said it wasn't "Artie being Artie," but couldn't explain any further. This morning, Artie was off again. Howard explained, Artie wasn't looking good last week. Management suggested he take some time off, so that's what he's doing. Howard said Artie should be out for the rest of the week, which means we won't here from him until the new year. Artie has been battling depression, alcohol and drug addiction for years. Recently, things seemed to be getting better for Artie. He lost a ton of weight and is getting serious with a new girlfriend. Let's hope Artie gets all the rest he needs and comes back better than ever for 2010.
