ATTEMPTED TERROR ATTACK ON CHRISTMAS DAY
Saturday, December 26, 2009
A Christmas day reminder that terrorists are still out there.
Yesterday, a man who told the FBI he works for al-Qaeda, tried to blow up a plane that was landing in Detroit. The suspect boarded a plane in Nigeria and connected in Amsterdam on his way to Detroit. The suspect was said to have some sort of white powdery substance that he was trying to ignite. There were nearly 300 people on board. They were able to subdue the suspect. The White House is calling it an attempted act of terrorism.
