Goodnight, Friend! Nancy Grace Smacked With A Lawsuit

Over-the-top CNN talk show host Nancy Grace may not be able to stomach any turkey tomorrow. That's because she's been slapped with a lawsuit by a couple that says she's to blame for the death of their daughter. Melinda Duckett committed suicide shortly after appearing on Grace's CNN Headline News show in September. The wrongful-death lawsuit accuses Grace and her producers of luring Duckett onto the show by misrepresenting their intentions to help find her missing 2-year-old son, Trenton. Instead, the lawyer for Duckett's parents says Grace harshly implied that she killed her only child. Police have since labeled Duckett as the prime suspect in the child's disappearance. CNN Headline News has released a statement saying, "We stand by Nancy Grace and fully support her, as we have from the beginning of this matter."Labels: star scandals
