On Tuesday, a contestant on THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE became the first to win a million dollars on the show. >>> On Thursday, John McCain finally appeared on THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN. The Republican presidential candidate canceled his first appearance at the last minute to address the economic crisis in Washington. Turns out, he was still in NYC taping an interview with Katie Couric. McCain told Letterman he "messed up." The interview brought the show its biggest ratings since December 2005 when Oprah Winfrey was on. >>> Glenn Beck is leaving CNN Headline News for the Fox News Channel. Reporter Jane Velez Mitchell has already been given Beck's 7pm slot. She's hosting a topical-driven show called, "Issues with Jane Velez Mitchell." >>> Madonna and Guy Ritchie are getting a divorced they are getting a divorce after almost eight years of marriage. >>> Maureen McCormick aka Marcia Brady made the rounds this week to promote her new book, "Here's The Story." The actress confessed to being addicted to cocaine and had at least two abortions. She also claims to have dated Steve Martin and Michael Jackson. >>> Sarah Silverman tells Howard Stern that she and Jimmy Kimmell are seeing each other on the DL and are taking things slow.
